In April 2024, the Charleston Battery soccer club announced that it had a new training kit sponsor, Color World. The partnership includes collaborative efforts between the parties for community involvement, such as the Summer Reading Program and the Charleston County Public Library.

Another initiative is the Kids for Kids program, which has two sub-programs. The Night Practice Series allows youth soccer teams and their parents to watch Battery during practice and meet the players in person. The other sub-program is the Youth Club of the Match, which honors a local youth soccer team in each home game. Through the Kids for Kids program, Color World will sponsor game tickets donated to local charitable organizations in Charleston.

Battery and Color World Painting, a home improvement and painting services company, forged a multi-year partnership agreement that would feature Color World in the Battery’s training jerseys.

Regarding the partnership, Battery’s chief revenue officer, Julian Clanton, expressed the team’s pleasure in working with Color World, which has demonstrated commitment to community involvement. Color World managing partner Lawson Owen Jr. stated that Color World is excited to work side by side with Battery to enrich the lives of Charleston residents through sports and community work.
